Applied ICT

As with all other programs Applied ICT programs are designed and developed in close collaboration with the industry. The students will go through a 3 month orientation programme where they will be given a training (both theory and practical) to equip them with the required soft and hard skills required to go through the programme. During the orientation the students will also have the opportunity to follow the BRIDGE program of SLASSCOM as a self-learning unit. This is ideal for those who commence this program from a different academic background.

A student can follow any one of the following degree programs:

  • Bachelors of Technology in Information Technology and Service Management (ITSM)
  • Bachelor of Technology in Automation and Data Analytics
  • Bachelor of Technology in Multimedia Technologies

B. Tech ITSM will cover: Networking, Cloud Computing and Cyber security

The degree programs offered are based on the industry demand. The degrees offered will open opportunities for students not only in Sri Lanka but also globally. All of the programs will offer a strong common core that will give the students flexibility in the work place and allow them to move into specialized areas that are necessary for economic value addition.

The programs are designed to adhere to Seoul Accord. Modules selected for each program will provide the required skills and competencies to produce a ICT Professional.
